Obituary of Jesse Brooks Monts

Jesse Brooks Monts, 68, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023. He was born January 11, 1955 in Swansea, SC, to the late Jessie Monts, Sr. and his mother Betty Monts. In addition to his father, Jesse was preceded in death by a sister Glenda Atkins and his sons Jesse and James Monts.

Mr. Monts is survived by his wife, Diann Monts; daughter, Erica Coats (Mickey); son, Eric Monts (Jessica), and Ray Porter (Brittany); three brothers, two sisters, 11 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Jesse was the pastor of Glory B Ministries. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend and will be missed.

A small intimate service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 10:00 am at Thompson Funeral Home.
