Obituary of Elaine S. Case

Elaine Smith Case, 81 years old, was born in Smoaks, South Carolina, to the late A.P. and Elizabeth Smith.

Elaine passed away peacefully at her home on 09/11/2022 surrounded by her loved ones. She was married to the late Douglas Cole Case, Sr., who was the love of her life.  

She was preceded in death by her son, Dock Thomas (Tommy) Case, her parents and two sisters, Mary Smith Ulmer and Bonnie Smith Ketchie.

Elaine is survived by her children, Susan C. Holzfburg, Douglas C. (Skip) Case, Jr. and Sharon C. Beheler; her sister, Sarah (Weezie) Smith -Padgett and numerous Grands and Great Grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held for Mrs. Case at 1 PM, Monday, September 19, 2022 at Woodridge Memorial Park Mausoleum, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC 29072. A visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service.
