Obituary of Marjorie Browder

Services for Marjorie Bennett Browder, 85, will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, Feb.1, 2020, at Ascension Lutheran Church, 829 Wildwood Ave., Columbia.  Interment will follow at Olympia Cemetery.  The Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Friday, Jan. 31, 2020.  Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605. 

Mrs. Browder died Wednesday, Jan.29, 2020. Born in Richland County, she was the daughter of the late John Bennett and Marion Hallman Bennett.  Mrs. Browder was raised by her cousin Gary Hallman and his wife Arietta Hallman because she was only four years old when her mother died.  She was retired from The Vision Center at Walmart.

Mrs. Browder enjoyed working in the yard and spending time with her family.

Surviving Mrs. Browder are daughters Linda B. Poole (Martin) of Franklin, NC, Dianne Jordan of Hopkins, sons, Billy Browder(Joyce) of Columbia, and Steve Browder (Jane) of Hartsville, 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Browder is predeceased by her husband, William L. Browder, her son, Gary Wayne Browder and her brother, Raymond Bennett.
