Obituary of Nadine Toulson Shetron

Nadine Toulson Shetron, 77, returned to her heavenly home on October 29, 2019.  Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her and ultimately gave her peace.

Nadine was born to the late Victor H. & Hilda Gebele Toulson, in Wilmington, Delaware on January 25, 1942. She, and her siblings, Victoria & Robert, were raised in Venango, Pennsylvania before relocating to Riviera Beach, Florida.  Nadine graduated from Palm Beach High School and went on to earn an Associate of Science in Nursing, becoming a Registered Nurse.  She followed her passion of service to others through pediatric, geriatric, and private nursing care.  Additionally, Nadine served with Kiwanis International and was honored with the George F. Hixson Fellowship Award.

Nadine married her soul mate, William, on May 7, 1965, in West Palm Beach, Florida.  Together, they resided in Palm Springs, Florida for 36 years before retiring to Columbia, South Carolina. Nadine is survived by her loving husband, William of Columbia; son and daughter-in-law Brian & Pamela, and grandson, Christian, of Charlotte, North Carolina; sister Victoria of Spring, Texas; brother Robert of Delray Beach, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.  She is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her creator.

A memorial ceremony will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at 3:00 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1000 Greenlawn Drive, Columbia, SC.  Nadine’s final resting place will be Lake Worth Memory Gardens, Lake Worth, Florida.
