Nancy was a treat to listen to as her recollections were so bright, and her diction so unique. She maintained a good sense of humor, and enjoyed family get-togethers, some of which I was blessed to be included.
She loved her cat, Marnie, dearly. She repeatedly thanked me for gifting Marnie to her, and expressed how happy Marnie had made her. She never seemed to realize it was she who rescued a lost cat who truly needed someone, and fell into her caring and loving arms.
Nancy also enjoyed a little sparkle in the form of jewelry and purses. It was my pleasure to have the opportunity to indulge her a bit along those lines.
Shine on, Nan.
